Metsä Group's mills across Europe stream operational data in real time into one cloud platform. 21 mills are connected today, and more keep joining. It offers two views of the same data: the process telemetry itself, in the tag names automation specialists already work in, and a digital twin model giving selected equipment and processes a standardized shape for analytics. Both are one managed, secured, and developer-friendly API away. That opens the data to everyone who needs it and keeps ownership and control with Metsä Group.

Ari Linja and Ergin Tuganay will walk through what that took: a standardized edge platform at each site and a cloud platform on Microsoft Azure, built within Metsä Group's cloud and data strategy rather than alongside it, with DevOps in every layer.
